Web development

Websites that hold up in daily operation. Designed and built in Offenburg, for businesses in the Ortenau region and beyond.

What we build

Having a website built by us means getting a tool that brings in inquiries and stays maintainable. Design, copy and engineering come from one team, from the first draft to ongoing operations. Built lean, on technology someone can still maintain in five years.

Services

  • New websites

From blank page to finished site. Structure, web design, copy and build, aligned with what the website is meant to achieve.

  • Relaunch and redesign

An existing site gets rebuilt without losing what it has earned. Content, rankings and redirects move along in a controlled way.

  • Performance and technology

Fast load times, clean structure, accessibility and technical SEO come as standard, not as an extra.

  • Maintenance and operations

Updates, backups, monitoring and small changes at a fixed monthly rate. A website is software in continuous operation.

How a website project runs

  1. Conversation

It starts with a conversation about goals, audiences and the current state. No obligation, no jargon.

  2. Concept

That turns into a structure, a page plan and a fixed offer with a clear scope and date.

  3. Build

Design and development run in short feedback loops. Progress stays visible at all times, nothing disappears for weeks.

  4. Launch and operations

After testing on real devices the website goes live. Then comes the part that is often forgotten, care, review and further development.

What a website costs

An offer grows out of the analysis, not out of a price list. After the first conversation there is a fixed frame covering scope, dates and responsibilities. Extra charges only happen when the goal changes, not because an estimate was too optimistic.

Scope, content and integrations drive the price, not the number of meetings. A compact company website accordingly costs less than a multilingual site with integrations and special features, and both get a binding figure before the project starts.

Maintenance and operations run at a fixed monthly rate. The website stays current and secure without every small change needing a new quote.

Common questions

  • What does a website cost?

That depends on scope, content and integrations, a blanket number would not be honest. After a first conversation there is a fixed offer, and we stick to it.

  • How long does a website project take?

A compact website is live in four to six weeks, larger sites take two to three months. In our experience content takes longest, so we plan for it from day one.

  • Would a website builder do?

For a first site sometimes yes, and we say so when it is the case. The limits show once findability, speed or special features start to matter. A sober comparison is in the post website builder or agency.

  • Who owns the website?

The business, completely. Code, content and domain belong to the client, documented and ready to hand over. No dependency on us is created.

  • What happens after launch?

On request we take over care and operations, meaning updates, backups, monitoring and small changes. Why that matters is covered in why a website needs ongoing care.

The next step

One conversation is enough to see whether it fits. No obligation, with an honest assessment.
