Software development
Custom software pays off where standard programs will not adapt to the business. We build tools that follow the workflow, not the other way around. From Offenburg, for businesses in the Ortenau region and beyond.
What we build
Internal tools, business applications, customer portals and automations that replace recurring manual work. The starting point is never the technology but the workflow that costs time today. Whatever standard software solves well, we solve with standard software, the rest gets built.
Services
Custom software
Tailor-made applications for workflows no standard program covers. From internal tools to customer portals.
Process automation
Recurring tasks run automatically, double entry and transfer errors disappear. The time saved can be calculated up front.
Integrations
Shop, inventory, accounting and shipping talk to each other. Data flows automatically instead of being copied by hand.
Operations and further development
Software needs a home. We run, monitor and keep developing, in small steps rather than big leaps.
The client owns the code
Every line we write becomes the property of the client. Documented, versioned and built so another developer could take over. Dependency is not a business model we want to build on.
Standard or custom
Not every workflow needs its own software. Where a proven standard program is enough, we recommend it, even though there is nothing in it for us. We build custom where a workflow sets the company apart or where standard solutions would stay more expensive in the long run. Which workflows pay off is covered in process automation for small and medium businesses.
Common questions
When does custom software pay off?
When a workflow costs time every day and no standard program covers it cleanly, or when several systems are connected by hand. The math is simple, hours saved against a one-time build.
What does custom software cost?
A serious number only exists after the analysis, a small automation accordingly costs less than a full application. What matters is the calculation behind it, what the current workflow costs in time and errors.
Who owns the code?
The client, completely, including documentation and access. There are no licence fees to us and no technical lock-in.
Does everything have to change at once?
No. We build in stages, each usable on its own. Existing systems stay in place and get connected through interfaces, as described in how interfaces let separate systems talk.
What happens after the start?
Software in use needs care. We take over operations, updates and further development at a fixed monthly rate, for as long as it is wanted.
The next step
One conversation about the workflow that costs the most time is enough for a first honest assessment.
